I tend to kill a lot of floppies during testing, and it's been years since I've seen a system crash due to floppy error handling. A spontaneous reboot is usually caused by hardware, or occasionally by massive corruption of kernel data. You ought to try backtracking from the crash to see what it is that might be causing it. -- \\ Sometimes you're ahead, \\ Mike Smith \\ sometimes you're behind. \\ mike@smith.net.au \\ The race is long, and in the \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ end it's only with yourself. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
