And as far as H264 video is concerned, better than mp4player. mp4live can send h264, but mp4player cannot receive it, it cannot display h264.mp4s as well, unknown codec, surprise, surprise, it works in ffplayer and mplayer, but this is another story. Sofar the video side of mp4live. Audio works via the soundcard, /dev/dsp0.0, but I dont know how to setup the internal microphone of the camera. No experiences with second soundcards etc, sorry for this newbie stuff. Did put snd_uaudio into loader.conf and got in dmesg: uaudio0: vendor 0x0471 product 0x0312, rev 1.10/0.02, addr 2 uaudio0: audio rev 1.00 pcm1: on uaudio0 and in /dev/sndstat: pcm1: at ? kld snd_uaudio (0p/1r/0v channels) mode 1:(input) 1ch, 16/16bit, pcm, 44100Hz mode 2:(input) 1ch, 16/16bit, pcm, 22050Hz mode 3:(input) 1ch, 16/16bit, pcm, 11025Hz mode 4:(input) 1ch, 16/16bit, pcm, 8000Hz What do I have to do? Lets take mode 2 as example, how to I switch it on, what are the correct devices? Just putting /dev/dsp1 into mp4live did not work. Thanks, H.
