My guess is that this really has nothing at all to do with FreeBSD, but has to do with Napster. From their FAQ.. Q: Why can't I connect to Napster? A: We have been caught by a sudden and unexpected rise in demand for our service, and apologize for the difficulties you have experienced trying to connect. We will be adding additional capacity shortly that should alleviate the problem. This would explain why you have had trouble connecting, but you should be able to connect occasionally, if you are persistent! At any rate, have you tried one of the other napster clients in the ports tree? There's always the chance that gnapster is broken. - jim -- jim mock <jim@jmock.com> work: jim@osd.bsdi.com | jim@FreeBSD.org http://soupnazi.org/ BSDi Open Source Div | http://bsdi.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
