good evening folks, I've got an old sony vaio sr11k sub notebook that I'm very happy with. lovely little machine but I'm trying to get the jogdial working properly. I've done my reading on the net and I can't quite get things right. I've got device spic0 at isa? irq 0 port 0x10a0 compiled into the kernel which ID's as this spic0: device model type = 1 spic0: <Sony Programmable I/O Controller> at port 0x10a0-0x10a4 on isa0 and I run moused -t jogdial -p /dev/jogdial from /etc/rc.local (in addition to the one run in the normal rc scripts for the trackpad. X is configged to use /dev/sysmouse the current situation is that if I roll the jogdial up and down it acts as a mousewheel but if I click the wheel in then it acts as a left mouse button click and what I want is for it to act as a middle mouse button click. I've tried moused -t jogdial -p /dev/jogdial -m 1=2 and several variations but when I add that flag then the wheel click is no longer registered at all. this is all with 4.6-stable does anyone have any idea's? many thanks dave To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
