Not building profiled libraries might have been best in 1993 when makeworld took hours (4-10?). When I optimized makeworld in 1998, it still took more than 1 hour but I removing profiling from it was intentionally left out (except for bootstrapping). It would have saved only a few minutes. Now, a whole makeworld should take a few minutes and the few extra seconds for profiling libraries doesn't matter. Bruce
