Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii X-Mailer: Mutt 0.68 Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I was recently trying to research a problem by searching the mail archives, and often the main FreeBSD archive was completely bogged. Being bright, I cast about for a relatively responsive mirror, and found that the mirror's search page was pointing me back at www.freebsd.org, chucking me back into the morass I was trying to avoid. So - are then the mirrors of the server incomplete mirrors? If so, what other parts of the main site aren't mirrored? And while I'm on a rant - I recall there was some talk of exploring Hypermail, or the like, to maintain threaded indexes of the archives. Did that go anywhere? -- Brian 'you Bastard' Reichert reichert@numachi.com 37 Crystal Ave. #303 Derry NH 03038-1713 USA Intel architecture: the left-hand path
