But hey, if I >have to, I will. :) I've just (barely) started looking at "smartupstools", which seems to be intended as a PowerChute work-alike (from my preliminary looking around). It seems to have been used on FreeBSD (since FreeBSD is mentioned in the Makefile & docs); more information is at http://www.exploits.org/~rkroll/smartupstools.
