It has been quiet on this topic since, assuming not a lot work has been done in this field. Nowadays most LTE modules are QMI only. Only a small subset of modules is available using direct IP (DIP), yet the ones I tested are not reliable enough for production purposes. As such the 'CDC-WDM' path start to become more important to continue to have LTE support under FreeBSD. Is somebody aware of current developments and/or interest in the area of CDC-WDM for FreeBSD?
