I believe that the Solaris version of Internet Explorer (both 4.x and 5.x) are for the SPARC platform only, not the x86 platform. Also, even if it was available for the x86 version of Solaris, it uses some of the CDE and other (possibly) propietary libraries that are only available under Solaris. One possible way to attempt to run it is to connect to a Solaris machine with X11 forwarding and launch IE from the session on the Solaris machine and see if it will run or not. I'm not sure and I highly doubt if it will run properly :) -- Linh Pham [lplist@closedsrc.org] // 404b - Brain not found To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
