Stefan, Here is what I was writing to you next, but your message arrived first: Does your laptop have a mini-PCI winmodem in it? You have a PCI device probing at IRQ3, although sio1 is not happy with it. I suggest editing pccard.conf to eliminate IRQ3 from the list of irqs. The default version of the file is at /etc/defaults/pccard.conf. If you haven't already done so, create an override version at /etc/pccard.conf. All this file needs is the line irq # # # where # is a valid and free IRQ [some of 3,4,5,7,9,10,11,15]. Greg -----Original Message----- >Hi this is the dmesg from my laptop. I this sio0 is irq3 so here is the >problem. > >What I have to do is: to configure the sio0 in the kernel file using a >different irq or the pccard ? right ? > >How can I do this ? > >This is my dmesg file: > > >Rebooting... >Copyright (c) 1992-2001 The FreeBSD Project. >Copyright (c) 1979, 1980, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 > The Regents of the University of California.
