I'm using the ISC 2.x client ('dhclient'), along with a PCMCIA ethernet card on a Thinkpad. It sometimes takes away the default route, and it's not quite working smoothly yet for resumes, but if I get to the bottom of what's going on (and I'm going to go look in the mailing list archives, shortly) I'll let you know.
