Default search path for /usr/local, where local software is typically installed, is near the end of the path statement, after base command paths. Edit /root/.cshrc as follows: a) comment out the existing or default 'set path' statement by preceding it with a hash mark (#) b) insert this statement: set path = (/usr/local/sbin /usr/local/bin /usr/sbin /usr/bin /sbin /bin $HOME/bin) hope this works Cam
