Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Folks, Earlier this year, we needed to have a special module built for us by a vendor, due to restrictions in FreeBSD 2.2.x's handling of threads. I am not privy to all the details, but the upshot was that the vendor's software, normally built thread-safe on other platforms, did not perform well. Now we are finally moving forward to 3.2 and we need to find out if threads are behaving themselves in this version. Anyone care to comment?
