Alpha is treading on dangerous ground attempting to court Intel. Hot rumor yesterday on http://www.macosrumors.com was that Motorola and UMAX, unhappy with Apple's recent licensing about-face, were each preparing separate take over attempts. At the same time there is a move within Apple to merge or be bought out by Oracle in order to prevent Motorola or UMAX from being able to swallow them.
