Can we please stop this ridiculous fiction that ntpd is not maintained before people in other parts of the internet start pointing at us and laughing at what a bunch of uninformed rubes we are? The ntpd developers have, in the past six months, accepted and then released an enhancement that originated right here in freebsd. Just two days ago they accepted a patch from me for a small bugfix. Ntpd is very much actively maintained. -- Ian
