With this I guess that the /etc/ttys was restored, but I had added some virtual consoles and I forgot to ./MAKEDEV. I copy the /etc/ttys to a dos floppy, edited in dos to remove the additional console I had added and try again. I still got the can't exec getty error. Any ideas how to solve this problem?
