After upgrading to tor 0.3.1.7 on FreeBSD 10.4/amd64, I now see regular
warnings and a stacktrace related to tor_compress_process at
src/common/compress.c:576. Apparently this is upstream bug:

I also experience frequent crashes of the _tor process.
