Of course it's possible to post rc.conf but I havn't configured the second
nic yet there since it's not possible to know how it should be configured.

This is what ifconfig says:

guldivar# ifconfig inphy0
ifconfig: interface inphy0 does not exist


Shouldn't that be possible even if we havn't done anything in rc.conf
since it shows up in the dmesg ?
