Not only the Windows version, the Mac version has these markings, too.

No ! Because Eudora generates an X-Priority: header, which is ignored by
Sendmail. Sendmail only uses the Precedence: header.
The X-Priority header is only being parsed by Eudora on reception of the
mail. You can't manipulate the mail's priority during delivery with the
X-Priority: header.

I'm in the same situation :-) but I intend to buy that book on my own
expenses soon.
However, I figured this out without the book. Just investigate the raw mail
files with a text editor.
