(This has happend only 3 times, all in the past 3 days.) The symptom is neither of a 'reboot' command, nor a power button activation, but a reset button activation (or someone pressing the power button twice, or switching off and on the power point on the wall, which are publicly accessible). The last 2 times during the boot i saw "... file system not cleanly unmounted. rebooting automatically". During all these reboots, i did not notice any power failure to my PC or the office lighting. The freebsd box is in the same room, 20 meters away from me. Is there any software/hardware fault that can trigger a power-reset? How do I confirm the cause? If it's a disgruntled employee, then how do i track her down? To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
