Yes, but they are pre-compiled for FreeBSD!

If you have a precompiled binary for a Sparc or alpha, or a number of other
os's then no it won't work.  If you have a pre-compiled binary FreeBSD (on
i386) then yes it will work.

Also, of course there is linux and SCO (?) emulation that will run binaries
from those platforms as well.
