I don't know why you would think that - it's clearly a ports problem....

/sbin/fsck -o harder /dev/me

I have seen this before. Now I've just got to figure out where and
what caused it. FWIW I've never had a single problem building any of
the cups stuff here, and I'm on a bleeding-edge -STABLE. Are you on
CURRENT by any chance?
