When I telnet to a remote box to read mail, executing Pine will reverse my console. I.e. black letters, white background. I have to execute colorls to reset it. This does not happen when I telnet to the mail machine from my Linux box. What is the correct TERM setting for FreeBSD 2.1.0's console to act like a Linux console. The default console (Con25) is fine for local work but not so good when telnetting. (except to another FreeBSD box) Thanks, Craig =================================================================== Shrimpton Consulting Orbit Systems Craig Shrimpton Email: craigs@os.com 17 Monroe Avenue Phone: (508) 753-8776 Worcester, MA 01602 http://www.os.com/
