	As far as running two OSes on the same machine, sure, it's possible.
Just not at the same time.

	If you're wanting to run a "shopping cart", I'd assume for web-based
orders.  Now, if you're doing something for the web, odds are you'd
want to have it run 24/7.  A dual boot machine is useless for
something running an application that you want available 24/7.

	More than likely, you're going to want to set up a machine
specifically to run the shopping card software and leave your Windows
ME machine alone.
