Is | there any way to prohibit losing connection after scan? I think this is the expected behavior unless your hw supports background scanning (try ifconfig ath0 bgscan, if it gives "SIOCS80211: Invalid argument" then it doesn't :-). You can use ifconfig ath0 list scan to get the latest scan result without initiating a new scan. Note that the 'scan' command given as non-root user is the same as the list scan --> a normal user won't be able to cause the disconnection by issuing a 'scan' command. | Thanks Hope this helps, - -- Pietro Cerutti gahr@FreeBSD.org PGP Public Key: http://gahr.ch/pgp -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (FreeBSD) iEYEAREKAAYFAkfQLQ8ACgkQwMJqmJVx945/KQCgiKhY1VKAw6KQ89mGpmZeGe8Q bv8An1692foO275N62j5z3hzAnbc1EH8 =8AVg -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
