You have a situation here where you think you have 5 identical machines - well you need to start by making sure you really and truly do in fact have 5 identical machines. I would bet that once you start taking covers off and reading board revision numbers that you will find that you don't have identical machines, and that this is why some of them are working and others aren't. Also, you need to compare BIOS and firmware revisions and compare BIOS settings between all of them.
