Hallo!!
I want to buy the CD of FreeBSD (-> Walnut Creek CD-ROM (about 40$))
and I have some important questions:
I need a UNIX for the ICS and the Fixed disk release.
My question: Is FreeBSD able to do this?? And is it very difficult??
I have an Intel P3 600 with 128 MB RAM and an ISDN "Fritz!" - Card.
Do you think, that there will be any problems (for example with the i=
nstallation)???
I have read, that on the CD is also "X Window System (Xfree86 3.3.6). Can=
you tell me, what it is??
For LINUX exists a program, which is called "Samba" that WINDOWS programs=
also run with LINUX, does something like this
exists for FreeBSD, too?
I thought, that the server will have FreeBSD and the clients Windows 98, =
will there be any problems???
And what is with this DSL??
Do you know, if I'm allowed to make copies of the Software?? Because I al=
