The NIC is (theoretically) TLAN-based, and there are specs for those at http://www-s.ti.com/cgi-bin/sc/device1.cgi?device=TNETE100A&return=NETWORKING+COMPONENTS&des=THUNDERLAN++PCI+FAST+ETHERNET+CONTROLLER&type=2 (Sorry for the wrapped line.) You can get a copy of the programmer's ref there in PDF format. I have a copy, and a 6000 with one of these in it, but very little time to actually write the driver (made worse by the fact that I've never written a NIC driver before). So if someone wants to grab this information, and write a driver with it, great! OR, if someone with knowledge of these drivers can point me to documents containing tips, hints, etc., regarding writing such a driver, that would be great, too, but probably won't result in a working driver as quickly. -- Frank Mayhar frank@exit.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
