Hi, I am using a cisco 4000 as a router and I want to move to a FreeBSD box. (I tried Linux :-( no way, the routing is screwed) My problem is that I am working on renumbering my networks and need to for a short time (ok well 4 months or so) have both address working on the ethernets. On my cisco I can have a ip address 204.117.64.0 and a ip address secondary 205.215.8.0 and they will both route. Then I can slowly move my servers from one to the other address. Can this be done in FreeBSD? Can I configure a interface to have two addresses and have it route ip from one to the other? Nathan Stratton CEO, NetRail, Inc.
