Sorry; I probably should have lurked longer before spouting off. I now see that the freebsd-doc charter (in "handbook/eresources.html") agrees with you. But "http://www.freebsd.org/docproj/index.html" says the FDP is all about working on the FDP's "Documentation Set" which includes: (quote) The manual pages The Project does not really concern itself with these," The FAQ The Handbook The Tutorials Some of these tutorials are maintained by Project committers, others are not. (/quote) A small change of docproj/index.html should clear things up. Change "There are two ways in which this is undertaken;" to "There are several ways in which this is undertaken, including:" and add something like: 3. Members of the Documentation Project work on other documentation activities including dealing with question on the freebsd-doc mailing list and documentation-related Problem Reports. BTW, I might have tried providing my first page patch, but it seems that "doc-all" isn't quite truthfully named and I don't have the page source. Which leads to another question I'll post under a new Subject if nobody sees this today: How do I determine the names of the available cvsup "collections" (and, if I have to use "cvs", the names of the "trees")?
