Pointy hats are given to those who made the mistake(s). It's not to reward someone. It's to punish someone. I'm not giving the pointy hat back, though. This one seems to be shaped for wearing while driving a convertible. The daemon ears deflect air upwards, increasing the pressure on the rear tires.
