            Bug ID: 209790
           Summary: net-mgmt/net-snmp: snmptrapd.conf: Warning: Unknown
                    token: logOption.
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Many People
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: zi@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: ohartman@zedat.fu-berlin.de
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(zi@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: zi@FreeBSD.org

Running net-snmp-5.7.3_11 (net-mgmt/net-snmp) on FreeBSD 10-RELEASE-p3, and
herefrom the snmptrapd, the manpage states the existence of the Option
"logOption" in the manpage of snmptrapd.conf. This line is also established=
 via
the automated configuration tool snmpconf.

Trying to start snmptrapd with configuration file located in
/usr/local/etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf gives this error:
#
[...]
snmptrapd[58704]: /usr/local/etc/snmp/snmptrapd.conf: line 35: Warning: Unk=
nown
token: logOption.

Line 35 of this specific config file is:

     27 ###################################
     28 # SECTION: Logging options
     29 #
     30 # Logging options
     31
32 # logoption: Set options controlling where to log to
33 # See -L options in the snmptrapd.conf man page
     34
     35 logOption f /var/log/snmptrapd.log

It doesn't matter whether I write logoption or logOption or whatever Option=
 I
apply.

Such a behaviour/bug was reported also for Version 5.7.2 but is supposed to=
 be
fixed. What happened here?
