I've got a Radeon X1650Pro working nicely in 2D and 3D on amd64. Using 7.1-RELEASE with rnoland's patches (which are incorporated in 7-STABLE) and radeonhd driver. Recently, support for R6xx based cards has started to arrive since ATI/AMD released the specs; 2D and Xv only for the moment. 3D support will come but isn't ready yet.
