But a little information was gathered: the netbsd people have ported the BSD 4.4 make to everything in the world. Including svr4 (and therefore solaris). At one point I started making changes to the ports makefile that were SunOS 4.* specific, but I never finished. This is something that I would be interested in doing. Soren
