i have 3 atapi hard drives - wd0 wd2 and wd3 (3.51 release). the whole system is on wd0 ... i know when i format wd3 i should do a: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/rwd3 count=2 but if i do: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/wd3 count=2 my machine reboots instantly everytime ... is this a bad atapi driver bug? seems like that isn't up to freebsd standards :) please reply off list as well ... ------------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
