Hi, I am currently configuring my FreeBSD 3.1 system for web hosting purposes and am looking at the FTP aspect right now. Is there anyway for me to restrict a user's access to the system areas in FTP ? For example, if I have the following directory structure below, /usr/home - polarbear (/usr/home/polarbear) - sunbear (/usr/home/sunbear) When user 'polarbear' logs in through FTP and is brought into his home directory (/usr/home/polarbear), is there anyway to restrict him so that he cannot go into the directory one level up, namely, '/usr/home' and stays strictly in his home directory ? Thanks. Regards, Seng Yip To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
