https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D243397 Roger Pau Monn=C3=A9 <royger@freebsd.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|New |Closed Resolution|--- |Works As Intended CC| |royger@freebsd.org --- Comment #1 from Roger Pau Monn=C3=A9 <royger@freebsd.org> --- AFAIK when using QEMU with Xen the emulated chipset is a PIIX which doesn't support SATA, and hence the option won't be available. This is not a limita= tion of libvirt or FreeBSD, but rather of Xen itself. Note that however using IDE or SATA is not going to make much difference performance wise, it's all emulated by QEMU and hence slow. Your best optio= n is to use the Xen PV drivers (usually called blkfront) in the guest in order to obtain the best performance, anything emulated is going to be slower. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
