I'm looking for some advice. I have small (several thousand lines of C++
code) ecosystem model that runs on a redhat 7.2 box (which runs gcc
2.96rh... a sort of redhat special). I want to port it to freebsd, and I
am wondering which gcc version you all think I am most likely to have
the least amount of trouble with. I see that my new 4.5 install came
with gcc 2.95. When I do a make I get a number of compile time error. I
don't want to bother you with the specifics unless your interested. Any
thoughts will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Kirk
