But main difference is that caching proxy is used to cache web requests and responses (http, https, ftp), while DNS cache is used to chache DNS queries and responses (when you ping www.dir.bg and you recieve 194.145.63.12 this is request "what's the address of www.dir.bg and response is "address is 194.145.63.12"). What are you trying to achieve?
