Yes it is free for ALL use.

Possibly.
there are 2 ways..
1/ FreeBSD can run most Linux binary applications
(there are instructions on doing this on the web site)
2/ If you have source, it should be a simple matter to recompile for
freebsd. (mainly small changes (a few include files etc.))
