I am using FreeBSD 2.2.6 and i have problems connecting to my ISP
Since I am really new to this OS/I've been using it for a week now/ i
was unable to write a script so i decided to conect i terminal mode. My
ISP gives me a login: and password: prompt. I enter my details and i get
'Switching to PPP' and two promts ppp ON *****> and ppp ON ****> and the
second one is not witha capital letters like the man page suggests.after
that there is no traffic at all , netscape cannot find the requested
servers, ftp does not find the hosts, nothing. Please can somebody help
me and tell me what is wrong with what i'm doing. I tried 'add default
HISADDR' after the second prompts but stil nothing. Could somebody
please explain how to log in and conect to the internet. I am given a
dynamic IP address and get a login: password prompt:
I would appreciate any help!
