Please excuse me. I was unable to find any information on the internet about running FreeBSD on a laptop. I have worked with Linux for about a year and have successfully ran it on a laptop. I have recently loaded FreeBSD on my desktop and like the way it runs and feels and want to load it onto a laptop. I assume that I would go from the information provided with my 2.2.6 distribution as a guide (my distribution did not include the handbook, but I have downloaded the text version of it from the FTP site), but I want to know more about PCMCIA slots and such. Where might I find this sort of information, if it indeed exists? thank you for your time, Bryan Parks (FreeBSD convert) :-) To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
