Actually, this one sounds like a troll to me.  Though no doubt there
are some people who sincerely think that way.  And don't even try to
write an official explanation -- once such people hear that there are
daemons in unix they won't go near any kind of unix again.

Also, what's "caricturization"?  Characterization?  Caricaturization?
