Hi,
Thank for your help.

It is possible to upgrade to version 7 without reinstalling?
If yes, how can I do this?

Best regards,

My first guess would be that there are two *different* LAN controllers - =
one connected to the PCI bus and the other via PCI-E most likely.

The one that appears in ifconfig is probably the PCI one, while the =
PCI-E connected one is likely a newer chip which is not supported by =
6.2.

Checking the documentation for the motherboard verifies this guess. Your =
MB has a Marvell 88E001 (connected via PCI) which is supported by =
FreeBSD 6.2 using the sk(4) driver. It also has a Marvell 88E056 PCI-E =
chip which is not supported by 6.2.

The good news is that 7-CURRENT and 6-stable should both support the =
88E056 NIC using the msk(4) driver.
