Hai Sir,
I am Ashok from India. I installed FreeBSD version 3.1
release through FTP from Canada site. I foolowed this procedure, And i
have one problem. kindly read this.
1) In my Compaq(Intel processor) system only IRQ 3 is free. So i set my
NE2000 compatible card to IRQ 3 and Port address 0x300. And after that i
connected to Canada FTP Site successfully and installed all
distributions. And after rebooting the system after installation, the
ethernet interface is not recognised. And the kernel is searching for
that card at the address 0x280. Why it becomes like that? How i change
the kernel to recognise my card which have IRQ 3 and Port address 0x300.
Please send me fast reply.
