Had to make a new sendmail.cf But . . . Most righteous! Just what I was looking for! All I have to do is configure it as a sticky window through my wm, and I don't have to keep swapping desktop pages to check for new mail! Just one thing. I get the config pretty clean, with all my folders set, and I see a plaintext login on the imap server, but I never get any notification of new messages. Documentation is sparse to say the least. And I can't seem to find out what the 'command' directive is supposed to be. Do I have to define that before it will actually check for new mail? Here is a sample folder def: { type = imap; title = FreeBSD; path = "imap://leblanc@acadia.ne.mediaone.net/INBOX.freebsd"; command = ""; server = acadia.ne.mediaone.net; port = 143; login = leblanc; }, And the end of the config: vertical = true; polltime = 1; maildir = "/home/leblanc/.Mail"; Though ~/.Mail doesn't actually exist - I'm not using any mbox or local mailboxes of any kind. Any pointers at all would be appreciated. Thanks dude! L On 08/01/01 09:38 AM, John P.
