Hello out there. I still have big problems in placing a call with i4b, the isdn stack keeps telling me this "invalid number" thing. This happened when I switched to the latest -STABLE. This weekend, I reformatted the whole BSD box to a 4.1.1-RELEASE version, with i4b 0.90.1 but the problem persists. I made many tests, I post here the results, hoping there is a solution for this. Pc used: BSD Box: - Intel PII 266 - Intel Ex chipset PII board - USRobotics Sportster ISA ISDN TA card First, I tested the NT with another PC under Win98, using a cheap PCI ISDN card based on the "cologne" chipset. Worked fine. So the NT is ok, I thought. Then, I used the other partition on the isdn-freebsd box, to set up a temporary win98. I loaded the drivers for the USR ISA TA card, to my greatest surprise (I was convinced that the card was faulty) worked fine (!). I guess now that there is a software problem either in i4b or in 4.2-STABLE .... or something very weird, this configuration has always worked fine for me (7 months), and this ISDN TA has passed trough GOBS of data ... I traced the s0 bus; Here is what I have got when the Win98 Machine (PCI "cologne" chipset card) calls (and connects): =========== isdntrace controller #0 =========== started Mon Jan 22 16:26:38 2001 -- NT->TE - unit:0 - frame:000169 - time:22.01 16:26:48.206721 - length:3 ------ Dump:000 00 d1 73 ..s Q921: SAP=0 (Call Control), R, TEI=104, U-Frame: UA PF 1 -- NT->TE - unit:0 - frame:000170 - time:22.01 16:26:48.266722 - length:4 ------ Dump:000 00 d1 01 02 ....
