I am trying to run a internal V90 PCI modem. Is there any information about how to do this? How do I know whether the kernel detected it? Do I need to rebuild the kernel? I checked the devices in the Generic kernel and pci is already there? For the serial port the device name is /dev/cuaa?, and it is passed as an argument to ppp. What is the device name for the pci modem.
