I'm using an Epson Stylus Photo 750 inkjet under 4.4-RELEASE, and it's
connected to /dev/lpt0. I've been trying to configure apsfilter 7.0.1 (from
ports) to work with this printer after configuring the basic lpd system
using the Handbook.
However, I'm stumped on the driver choice. When in "Printer Driver
Selection" under apsfilter setup I see the following choices for Epson
drivers:
1 - Epson AcuLaser C2000 [alc2000]
2 - Epson AcuLaser C8500 [alc8500]
3 - Epson Laser EPL-N2050 [epl2050]
4 - Epson Laser EPL-N2050+ [epl2050p]
5 - Epson Laser EPL-N5800 [epl5800]
6 - Epson Stylus Color 20S {png+pips} [pips/sc20s]
7 - Epson Stylus Color 40S {png+pips} [pips/sc40s]
8 - Epson Stylus Color 60S {png+pips} [pips/sc60s]
9 - Epson Stylus Color 480 {png+pips} [pips/sc480]
10 - Epson Stylus Color 580 {png+pips} [pips/sc580]
11 - Epson Stylus Color 680/777 {png+pips} [pips/sc680_777]
12 - Epson Stylus Color 880 {png+pips} [pips/sc880]
13 - Epson Stylus Color 980 {png+pips} [pips/sc980]
14 - Epson Stylus Photo 810/820 {png+pips} [pips/sp810_820]
I don't see any reference to my printer (Stylus Photo 750) in this list.
I've tried doing a google search under ["epson stylus photo 750" apsfilter],
but google didn't turn up anything useful. Nor could I find anything on the
apsfilter or ghostscript sites.
Am I looking in the wrong places? If so, I'd appreciate some pointers, as I
haven't had to manually configure a printer before (Mandrake and SuSE did
most of the dirty work for me.)
