Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I've looked at and section 18 (sendmail & alternatives) in the Handbook, and done several searches, but I can't find a way to avoid installing sendmail as part of a fresh installation (running sysinstall from CD-ROM). Is the real answer that I should just turn it off in etc/make.conf and then make world, and this will delete sendmail from my system? I haven't done this yet, but want to know what's going to happen before I kill something.
